There are a number of ways that you can become a part of this exciting new company,
besides making a tax-deductible contribution
to our non-profit public benefit corporation, American Dance and Music, Inc..

Organize a Fundraising Event: Though time consuming, these events
are a lot of fun and help generate interest and enthusiasm about the company and
its spirited and talented dancers. |
|
|
|
|
Help us find a Space: We are currently looking for a rental space
suitable for a ballet studio where we can hold company rehearsals, our morning adult/professional
ballet class (now at Santa Barbara Ballet Center), our summer dance intensive, and
a year-round training program for children and teens. If you know of any available
spaces, landlords who might have a space, or agents who might be interested in helping
us look, please let us know. |

Join our Board: Shortly after our debut season, we will be incorporating
as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. If you would be interested in serving on
our founding board of directors or advisory board, please let us know. It is a marvelous
opportunity to have a say in the future of ballet in Santa Barbara. |
|
|
|
|
Donate Services: As much as possible, we like to keep operating
costs down and direct as much as possible of our donations to the salaries of our
deserving dancers. The more goods and services we can have donated, the lower are
our operating costs. If you and your company can donate a service, such as printing,
mailing, catering, publicity, legal services, accommodations for guest artists,
etc., please let us know. We can also use volunteers who are willing to help with
envelope stuffing, writing, ticket taking, etc. We can make such things fun to do
in a group. |

|
Help us find people and resources: If you know someone who would
be interested in the company, who might be able to provide one or more of the services
above, who might make a donation, who might want to sponsor a ballet, or who might
want to serve on the board, please let us know. |

|
|
|
Help us find corporate sponsorship: If you have contacts at a company,
corporation, or foundation that might be able to sponsor Ballet Santa Barbara, either
with financial support or donated services, please let us know. |

|
|
|
